Then several levels directly above the walkway I'm going to build two massive water reservoirs with giant sluice gates that gradually get filled with pumps from a river. I have this awesome idea for a trap: A long (2/3 square wide) bridge access to my fortress on the surface, over a very deep pit (bridge of khazad dum style). I'd like to have a fortress with 150+ dwarves on at least a 5x5 map (perhaps 6圆) but my cpu can't take it. If only I had a stronger PC (also time), I would love to get back into DF. Matewis: Love me some DF! But yes, it's better to go ask a DF community.
